Turkish President goes to Great Britain

Yesterday, on May 13th the Turkish president Recep Tayyip Erdogan paid an official visit to the UK.

During the visit, the Turkish leader will meet with the Prime Minister of Great Britain Teresa May, as well as Queen Elizabeth 2nd. Also, Erdogan plans to meet with representatives of business circles of the country.

The main goal of the three-day trip will be to establish and strengthen ties between countries, as well as to increase trade turnover.

Yesterday Erdogan met with the Turkish diaspora, who warmly greeted the President of Turkey.

According to the head of the republic, Great Britain is one of the main strategic trade partners of Turkey.

Erdogan's visit to the UK will last until May 15th.
