Turkey Launches Major Oil and Gas Exploration Program
In an ambitious step toward energy independence, Türkiye will conduct large-scale oil and gas exploration and drilling both onshore and offshore.

The program includes drilling 300 wells — one of the largest exploration initiatives in the country’s history. In addition, 3D seismic data will be collected across an area of 9,900 square kilometers, helping to identify promising new deposits with greater accuracy.
