A 44-year-old Slovak fan, wanted for theft for 16 years, was arrested in Milan during the 2026 Winter Olympics.

Authorities say the arrest was triggered by a notification from a hotel in the Baggio district, where the man was staying. The fan had traveled to Milan specifically to support Slovakia’s national ice hockey team.
