The world's largest indoor butterfly park will open in Antalya

In June 2025, Butterfly World Antalya will open in Antalya — the largest indoor butterfly park in the world, featuring a tropical forest exoticarium. The project, costing over $20 million, will create about 500 jobs.

Key features of the park:

  • Area: 10,000 m², of which 8,000 m² are covered spaces.
  • Butterfly collection: 25,000 individuals of 40 different species, flying freely in a specially designed 25,000 m³ zone.
  • Exoticarium: A tropical forest with an artificial waterfall, streams, and a pond, inhabited by parrots, toucans, and other tropical birds.
  • Visitor infrastructure: Souvenir shops, cafes, fast food areas, and an amphitheater with 900 seats for shows and performances.

The park will be located in the Kepez district, close to other tourist attractions such as the DokuMapark with miniatures of Turkey. It is expected that the opening of Butterfly World Antalya will attract tourists, especially families with children, and become a significant contribution to the development of the region's tourism infrastructure.
