Antalya has been named the first D-8 Tourist City of 2025
Antalya, which welcomes millions of tourists annually, has been honored with a prestigious award from the Developing Eight Organization (D-8), becoming the first city to receive this distinction.

Minister of Culture and Tourism Mehmet Nuri Ersoy emphasized that Antalya continues to strengthen its position on the global stage, maintaining its reputation as one of Turkey's most popular tourist destinations.

As part of the award, the region will implement initiatives focused on the development of sports, gastronomy, music, and theater. Special attention will be given to preserving cultural heritage and natural resources.
