Changes in the Rules for the Stay of Ukrainian Vehicles in Turkey

The Turkish Statistical Institute (TÜİK) has released the latest housing sales statistics for November 2024.

According to the results, the number of property sales to foreign investors in Turkey in October 2024 was 2,122, and this figure increased to 2,151 in November 2024. However, compared to November 2023, sales to foreign investors in November 2024 decreased by 8.2%.

In November 2024, the share of property sales to foreign investors in the total housing sales volume was 1.4%.

In terms of the distribution of property sales to foreign investors by city, Istanbul ranked first with 780 sales. Antalya came second with 752 sales, and Mersin ranked third with 191 sales.

By country of origin, in November 2024, the largest number of property sales was made to citizens of the Russian Federation (421 sales), Iran (200 sales), and Ukraine (160 sales).

In November 2024, the total volume of housing sales in Turkey increased by 63.6% compared to the same month last year, reaching 153,014 units. In October 2024, this figure was 165,138.
Despite the decrease in interest from foreign investors compared to last year, the overall real estate market in Turkey continues to show steady growth, especially in major metropolitan areas.
