The President of Turkey announced new social support measures

Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan announced the launch of new social assistance programs for families and youth.

The key initiatives include:

  • Interest-free marriage loan: Couples can apply for a loan of 150,000 Turkish liras with a 48-month repayment term and a two-year grace period.
  • Increased childbirth allowance for the first child: The one-time payment has been raised to 5,000 liras.
  • Monthly child benefits: Families will receive 1,500 liras for a second child and 5,000 liras for a third and subsequent children.

These measures aim to improve family welfare, support young people, and encourage demographic growth in the country.
