В Турции древние мозаики находятся буквально «под носом»

В районе Гёльбаши юго-восточного округа Адыяман найдена древняя мозаика. Нашли ее два брата, Мехмет и Кемаль. Они работали на своем участке, где, совершенно случайно, и обнаружили удивительную находку.

О находке было сообщено в жандармерию, после чего мозаику передали в управление музеями города Адыямана.

По предварительной оценке, старинная историческая ценность датируется IV в. н. э. Теперь мозаику, которой более полутора тысяч лет, предстоит подробно изучить турецким ученым.

Возможно, что находка пополнит коллекцию мозаики, которая в настоящее время создается в одном из музеев Турции и будет самой большой в мире.
