You can replace your old car with a new one! – Turkey 2018

The Ministry of Finance of Turkey made a proposal to create a special program. Its essence lies in the fact that machines older than 16 years can be handed over for recycling. For this, the owners will be able to get tax benefits while purchasing a new car. It is assumed that the tax can be reduced by up to 10 thousand Turkish Liras.

In addition, the government of Turkey issued an order for municipalities, to sell abandoned and confiscated cars as metals. Revenues from sales of local authorities should take place in state-owned banks. And those will buy gold on them in return.

Therefore, it is planned to reduce the number of cars thrown into landfills and replenish the country’s gold reserves at the same time.
