Yildirim says that the flag of Turkey will forever develop in Antarctica

In Turkey, there is an active preparation for sending an expedition to Antarctica.

Recently, a meeting between the Turkish Prime Minister Binali Yildirim and the participants of the National Antarctic Scientific Expedition was held.

“There are 15 thousand kilometers between Turkey and Antarctica, and we are proud that our flag will develop there, it will be there forever, as a symbol of our state,” Yildirim mentioned.

Recall that the main task of the new expedition will be preparations for the opening of the First Turkish Scientific and Research Base on the ice continent.

In addition, scientists are planning large-scale scientific studies of the climate and nature of Antarctica.
