Why do foreigners go to Turkey?

Turkey found out which areas of tourism are most often chosen by residents of certain countries of the world.

So, usually, citizens of Germany, Russia, and countries of Western Asia come to Turkey for beach holidays or entertainment purposes.

With a view that improves the republic, most Azerbaijanis, Iranians and Western Europeans travel to Turkey for medical purposes.

In this regard, Turkey wants to develop and create other tourist destinations. In particular, excursion, religious and gastronomic reasons, as well as shopping tours.

“We have something to show, what to do, except passive rest on the beach. Our country has a rich history and interesting cultural traditions. We will pay more attention to advertising less demanded tourism destinations,” emphasized the Ministry of Culture and Tourism of Turkey.
