Van invites you to look at the miracle fish
In the largest lake of Turkey – Van, the annual migration of pearl trout began. Every year, from April to the middle of July, these amazing fish make a real miracle. They swim against the current, which is not typical among representatives of aquatic fauna. In order to overcome the current, thousands of fish jump out of the water, creating a unique spectacle.
Tens of thousands of tourists come to the city of Van to see a wonderful movement themselves at this time.
Every year, on June 1st, an international festival dedicated to a rare natural phenomenon is held in Van.
"We are inviting everyone who has not seen this fantastic movement before, " the mayor of Van, Mehmet Sirin said.
