Metrobuses in Istanbul will be launched over the air

Metrobuses shuttling over the air will appear in Istanbul. According to the idea of the city authorities, they shall unload the roads of the metropolis and make the movement along the city more comfortable. In total, more than 15 kilometers of air highways are planned to be opened. It is promised that new modern metrobuses will be very commodious. The length of one such body will make from 28 to 48 meters. The metrobus will be able to develop a speed up to 105 km/h.

The route starts in the north part of Istanbul, in Sefaköy district, passes through the ring road and finishes near the Fatih stadium. The cost of the project was estimated by the authorities at more than 861millions of pounds. The air road launch is scheduled to 2019.
