The new solar power station will be opened in Antalya in February

On the area of 33 000 m2 in the district of Döşemealtı this new governmental project will be opened to support the agricultural sector. Solar energy will be used for irrigation of lands for fruits and vegetable planting. According to the developers, after the launch of the first phase of the project, the solar panels will produce about 600 kilowatts / hour. In the future, the project will be expanded, as well as produced energy. By the end of this year, the battery will produce about 2.5 megawatts / hour, and in the future, by the 2017 energy production will increase to 5.7 megawatts of electricity per hour. This project will significantly reduce energy costs.
