UN award for best health app goes to Turkey
Developed by the Health Ministry, the mobile app "e-Nabız" (e-Pulse), which allows users to access their medical records, has been chosen the "Best Health Application" at the World Summit Award presented under the auspices of the United Nations Information Society. This is the first award that Turkey has received from the World Summit Award since 2003.

The application, "e-Nabız," which was initiated about a-year-and-a-half ago, has more than 4.4 million subscribers. The application has won several international awards and managed to become the number one app of the year, beating more than 400 projects from 178 countries.

Considered the world's most comprehensive health informatics infrastructure, "e-Nabız" continues to grow every day. The application allows its users to access to their medical records 24/7 on their mobile devices regardless of the hospital they checked in to.
