Turkey is preparing to held the UN International Summit

The UN International Summit on human issues will be held in Istanbul. The meeting is planned to be held on May 24 and 25. The event Press Secretary, Mr. Erve Vekhusel, told that such an event is held for the first time during 70-year history of the United Nations Organization. Moreover, the UN official representative noted that the country for such a broad-scale meeting was not chosen accidentally. Turkey managed broad-scale events earlier. That is why there are no doubts that the summit will be held at the highest level. Moreover, Turkey actively maintains the needy countries.

125 countries have just made applications for their participation in the negotiations; about a half of them will be represented by first persons, presidents and government executives. It is expected that at the end of the month about 6 thousand people will come to Istanbul. The summit result will be a report that will be presented at the meeting of the UN General Assembly afterwards.
