Turksat Targets Global Satellite & e-Gov Market by 2026

Turksat Aims to Become Global Player in 2026

Türkiye's sole satellite operator, Turksat, plans to expand its reach globally in 2026, aiming to offer satellite services and e-Government solutions beyond Türkiye, CEO Ahmet Hamdi Atalay told Anadolu Agency.

Corporate Transformation and Infrastructure Development

This year, Turksat focused on corporate transformation and infrastructure projects to support international expansion.

"We started an in-flight Internet connection (IFC) project, which will position us as a regional and then a global player," Atalay said.

The IFC service will debut in early 2026 on AJet aircraft, developed in collaboration with TCI Aircraft Interiors, a Turkish Airlines subsidiary.
