Turkish series were banned in the Arab countries: “actors are too handsome”

In a number of Arab countries, including Saudi Arabia, Qatar, the United Arab Emirates were banned from showing Turkish TV series.

The films were taken from all channels without explanation. According to the Minister of Culture and Tourism of Turkey Numan Kurtulmus, this issue will be considered and the reason for such a sudden ban is still clear.

The version of the ban on Turkish TV series was put forward by Miriam Berg, assistant professor at the Northwestern University of Qatar in Doha.

In particular, she said that, perhaps, the matter is that after the Turkish TV series were launched a mass show 10 years ago, the number of divorces in Arab countries sharply increased.

"The word" Turkish "has become synonymous with" romantic ". And in the Turkish series shows such a beautiful attitude towards women, there are such handsome male actors.

Therefore, it is not surprising that women of Arab countries, not spoiled by men's attention, began to understand that they deserve more in their relations, "Berg underscores.

In addition, Berg said that after the show began to show not only the number of divorces but also the number of tourists from Arab countries that travel to Turkey.
