Turkish low-cost airline plans to enter Ukrainian market

Turkish low-cost airline plans to enter Ukrainian market
Turkish budget air carrier Pegasus Airlines submitted documents to the State Air Service for registration as a Ukrainian airline.

This was stated by the Deputy Minister of Infrastructure Viktor Dovhan, according to Hromadske agency.

The dates and future directions of the airline's flights are still unknown.
Pegasus can become the second low-cost in Ukrainian market after the Irish airline Ryanair, which already plans to make flights from Kyiv and Lviv in the autumn.

Negotiations are also being held with the British low-coster EasyJet on the entrance to Ukrainian market, the publication notes.

Pegasus Airlines has begun making flights to Ukraine in 2010. The airline carries out regular flights from Istanbul to Kharkiv, Lviv and Zaporizhia, as well as from Ankara to Kyiv and Odesa.
