Turkish Duty Free: what tourists purchase without taxes

Turkey operates 181 Duty Free shops.

Over the past year, Duty Free sold goods for a record amount of one billion euros.

The most popular commodity, which was most often bought in Turkish Duty Free became tobacco products - they accounted for 36% of the proceeds from everything that was sold at duty free points.

Second place in sales, according to the Ministry of Customs and Trade of Turkey, took perfume and cosmetics. On the third - firm alcoholic production.

It should be noted that Duty Free stores are in all international airports, as well as seaports of the Turkish Republic.
