Turkey - the main link of the new "Silk Road"

The new "Silk Road" from China to Europe passes through Turkey.

The route starts in China, then through Kazakhstan, Azerbaijan, Georgia to European countries. The key link of the Trans-Caspian International Transport Route (TMTM) or the new "Silk Road" is the Turkish Republic. And every year there is an increase in the flow of goods through the countries. For example, within the framework of the project, the new Silk Road was laid and successfully launched the Baku-Tbilisi-Kars railway line (BTK) last year.

"Turkey is a key participant of TMTM. Thanks to the participation, last year alone we transported about 2 million tons of cargo from China, Kazakhstan, and other countries, and this year we are planning to double this figure, "said Kanat Alpysbaev, member of the board of the International TMTM Association.
