Turkey – the best country in the world

As a result of last year, the Republic of Turkey was the best country in the world. According to the British Organization for Development Initiatives, which published an annual report "On the volume of humanitarian aid in the world", Turkey took the first place in providing humanitarian assistance.

In total, the country rendered assistance by more than 8 billion dollars. The second place was taken by the United States with a margin of one and a half billion dollars, and Germany took the third place.

Throughout the past year, Turkish authorities, as well as various charitable organizations, have carried out many humanitarian actions. Most of the humanitarian aid was provided to citizens of Syria, as well as African countries.
