Tourists in Turkey: an endless stream

The Turkish Republic hit another tourist record. Since the beginning of the year, 11.8 million tourists have already visited the country. And this is almost 31% more than in the first five months of last year.

In total, Turkey expects at least 40 million tourists this year. According to the preliminary estimates, the income will be about 32 billion dollars.

According to the Minister of Culture and Tourism of Turkey, Numan Kurtulmus, the figures are significant, but the country can host and should host even more tourists.

The Republic has all the conditions: now programs are under consideration for the intensive development of cruise, medical, sightseeing, and several other tourism sectors...

By 2023, it is planned that Turkey will be visited by up to 50 million tourists, which will increase the income of the population from this sphere of the country's economy.
