Tourism in Turkey: New Year - New Records

Since the beginning of the year, the number of tourists continues to grow in Turkey.

Tens of thousands of foreign travelers are having a vacation at the ski resorts. Also, no less number of guests from other countries are arriving in major cities of Turkey for sightseeing tours.

For example, Antalya Airport received more than 90 thousand tourists in January, which is more than 13% when you compare it to January last year.

The increase in the number of tourists is noted in all the countries. For example, last month, 114% more tourists arrived from the UK compared to January last year. Also, tourists from Germany 15%, Austria 50% and Russia 30% increased as well.

Recall that the campaign for early booking of spring-summer tours to Turkey has already begun. People from all around the world most actively purchase permits for the Mediterranean Sea and the Black Sea coasts of the Republic.
