Turkey-2018: the winter season passes successfully, we are waiting for summer
The winter season is coming to an end in the Turkish Republic, preliminary results have already been announced. In total, nearly half a million people have rested since the beginning of the year. The total income was more than 65.5 million dollars.
The head of the Association of Travel Agencies of Turkey (TÜRSAB) Basaran Ulusoy says that this is quite a good result, but all the main hopes are of course related to the summer period.
“This year we are expecting at least 10% growth in the tourist flow compared to a very successful last year,” Ulusoy also mentioned.
Recall that in 2017, the number of tourists exceeded 32.4 million people. The number of tourists from all countries, except for Germany and Great Britain, has grown.
