The rules for yachts are simplified in Turkey

The Turkish Republic wants to become one of the largest centers of yachting tourism on the Mediterranean. At the moment, the number of yacht ports in the country is more than sixty but in the future, this number is being planned to increase.

In addition, some procedures for yachts will be simplified. So, according to the Minister of Transport, Shipping and Communications of Turkey, Ahmet Arslan, the deadline for drawing up a protocol on control over sanitary conditions will be shortened. Now, on average, and soon, the time spent on all procedures will be no more than 5 minutes

"The rule will apply to all yachts with a displacement of up to 50 tons, which are part of the territorial waters of Turkey," Arslan said.
