The passenger traffic in the Sabiha Gokcen Airport (SAW) - Istanbul is growing

The increase of passenger traffic in Sabiha Gokcen Airport continues. So, for the first six months of this year, the number of passengers increased by 12% when compared to the same period of last year.

In the first half of 2018, the passenger number in Sabiha Gokcen Airport reached 16 million people.

And note that the growth of passenger traffic was from both international and domestic flights. Since the beginning of the year, more than 106 thousand flights have been carried out at the airport.

Recall that the international airport named after Sabiha Gokcen is thirteenth in Europe and second in Turkey in terms of passenger flow.
