The food will be shown in a museum in Alanya

The building that the new Food Museum will be located is being restored in Alanya. The work of the new museum will begin in Autumn, this year.

The exposition will include all the national dishes of the Antalya region with a detailed description of the preparation. Also, both ancient and modern dishes will be shown.

The museum will hold master classes to prepare traditional dishes according to recipes, which were obtained from ancestors.

According to the mayor of Alanya, Adem Murat Yucel, the city plans to develop gastronomic tourism and the museum will be one of the first steps in this direction.

It should be noted that free courses for all those who wish to prepare national Turkish dishes are already being conducted in the city.
