The festival of Turkic Cinema will be celebrated in Tatarstan at Navruz

The festival will start in Tatarstan, 21st of March. Within the framework of the event, there will be a screening of movies from Turkish, Uzbek, Kazakh, Turkmen, Russian and 
Azerbaijani directors.

All the movies will be shown in their native languages with Russian subtitles.

“The main task of our festival is not only to acquaint spectators with film works from different countries but also to expand the geography of the shows of Turkic-language films,” said the director of “Tatarkino” Milyaush Ajtuganova.

Note that the beginning of the festival will coincide with the celebration of Navruz, which is celebrated in most of the Muslim countries. On the opening day, festival guests will be welcomed in the national costumes of the participating countries.

The festival will last until March 25th.
