Taxpayers in Northern Cyprus are Given Flowers as Gifts

In the city of Famagusta, located in Northern Cyprus, the municipality has announced an unusual campaign. Gifts will be given to all those who pay their utility bills, other types of payments, and various taxes on time. The gifts include flower seedlings that can be planted in gardens or on balconies. This initiative by the city council aims to thank conscientious residents for paying their bills promptly. Seedlings can be collected at the Famagusta municipal building upon presenting receipts and payment confirmations. The campaign has already started.
