Strawberry signs in Alanya in January!

In Turkey, Alanya harvests strawberries in winter. It ripens several times a year and the next harvest ripens at the beginning of the new year.

The main strawberry farms are in the Gazipasa area of Alanya. There are more than 8 thousand hectares there, and annually more than 25 tons of berries are harvested.

Strawberries are bought both in the local market and the international market. Istanbul buys the most berries in the local market and these delicious berries are exported to Europe, Russia, and Ukraine.

By the way, according to the studies of experts, the strawberries from Alanya is considered the sweetest and tastiest berry in Turkey.

Mostly private farms grow the strawberries in Alanya.
