Russian commercial vehicle firm expands operations in Turkey

The GAZ Group, one of the largest commercial vehicle manufacturers in Russia, announced that it has expanded the range of GAZelle Next vehicles with minibus and panel van models in its Sakarya factory where it has been assembling GAZelle-Business vehicles since 2012, and GAZelle Next vehicles since 2014.

The group's press department issued a statement that said: "The new models will be added to the previous models of GAZelle Next and will expand the range of GAZ automobiles in the Turkish market.

"More than 200 vehicle modifications will be produced for various business types on the basis of four main models."

The statement also said that the main parts required for production are procured from Russian and Turkish vendors and that the first GAZelle Next panel van vehicles to be installed in Turkey will be offered for sale in the fall.
