Erdoğan: "We have set a record in exports"

Turkey has summarized its export results for the year 2023. The successes in foreign trade were discussed by the President of Turkey, Recep Erdoğan, in his recent speech.

“In 2023, we exported various types of products worth $255 billion and 809 million. This is almost 1% more than last year and more than any other year. We have set a historic record," stated the Turkish leader.

Currently, over 120,000 companies in Turkey are engaged in exporting their products. Each province has Exporters' Associations, enabling even the smallest farms to send their goods abroad.

Just 20 years ago, Turkey was selling, on average, $3 billion worth of products abroad each month, but now this figure has increased sevenfold. According to the Turkish President, this is a significant progress, and the growth in exports is expected to continue. The main importers of Turkish products are the countries of the European Union. Additionally, last year saw a substantial increase in deliveries to the countries of the Near and Middle East.
