Real estate sales rose almost by a third

In June, real estate sales to foreigners grew by 7% - in just one month, citizens of other countries bought more than 2 thousand objects in Turkey. According to the Turkish Institute of Statistics (TUIK), a third of this number was citizens of Iraq, Iran, and Saudi Arabia. Also, purchases of real estate from Russian citizens have grown. As for the territories, most of the apartments and villas were bought by foreigners were in Istanbul, Antalya, and Bursa.

Therefore, in the first six months of this year, 11.816 housing units were sold to foreigners in Turkey. In general, the number of sale transactions increased by more than 23%, compared to the same period of last year.
