Partial lunar eclipse observed in Turkey

A partial lunar eclipse, a precursor to a total lunar eclipse due to occur on August 21, is a phenomenon when the Earth moves between the Sun and Moon but the three celestial bodies do not perfectly line along in space.

The phenomenon was observed this Monday in many parts of Turkey.
