Decrease of interest for mortgage in Turkey!

Russian “Sberbank” acquired Turkish bank. The purchase procedure has been officially finished and now one of the leading commercial Turkish banks – “Denizbank” is owned by “Sberbank”.  In interview with Russian newspaper “Kommersant”, business deputy chairman of Sberbank Sergei Gorkov explained that management will be in Moscow, but headquarters will be in Turkey and in Europe.

The brand and organizational independence will maintain as same, there will be a little rearrangement of accents in the strategy: the focus will be on precise work with a segment of SME - small and medium business.

And there is a good news for Russians: it is possible to get loans in Russia for the purchase of real estate or even for the organization of business in Turkey. Moreover, the credit will be available in rubles at a reduced interest rate - 12% . For those who do not mind the currency credit the rate is going to be 7% per annum. Therefore, there is an open horizon, for those who had a psychological barrier before lending abroad. As part of the «Denizbank Member of Sberbank Group », Turkish companies will also be able to borrow in Turkey for business in Russia and Europe (since almost simultaneously with Denizbank was acquired Austrian Volksbank International).
