New oil fields discovered in Turkey

Three new oil fields were recently discovered in the Turkish Republic.

"Black Gold" was found in the provinces of Bitlis, Sirnak, and Mardin. At the moment, the potential of the new deposits is being studied. Also, geological exploration work continues both on land and the sea.

It should be noted that Turkey buys the bulk of oil abroad. About 15% of the required volume of consumption of "black gold" is mined in Turkey itself. About 45 companies work in oil production and almost 200 companies are engaged in the geological exploration of mineral resources.

In addition, at the moment, the country began to actively carry out and work to find new hydrocarbon deposits.
