More wind farms in Turkey!

Last year, the Republic of Turkey was on the sixth place on the terms of the installed capacity of wind power stations in the country, among 39 states (members and candidates in the EU, Russia, and Ukraine). The first three places are taken by Germany, Spain and Great Britain.

According to the European Wind Energy Association WindEurope, at the moment, the total capacity of wind farms reaches almost 7 thousand megawatts in Turkey. Also, Turkey does not stop with one achievement: across the country, new wind and solar power stations are being built every year.

Also, it is much cheaper to obtain electricity this way and the method is environmentally friendly and safe.
