Turkey Sets November Export Record to Kyrgyzstan

Turkey achieved a historic November export record to Kyrgyzstan, with goods worth $88.4 million, marking the highest figure in the history of trade between the two countries for this month.
This record was driven by strengthened economic cooperation. During the visit of Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan to Kyrgyzstan last month, 19 new agreements were signed, providing an additional boost to bilateral trade. In 2022, the trade volume reached around $2 billion, with Turkey becoming one of the top five investors in Kyrgyzstan's economy.
According to the Turkish Exporters' Council (TİM), exports to Kyrgyzstan increased by 27.9% in November 2024 compared to the same period last year.
Key sectors:
- Jewelry — $37.9 million
- Ready-made clothing and textiles — $8.5 million
- Chemical products — $8.1 million
- Automotive industry — $7.2 million
- Electrical equipment and electronics — $5.3 million
The largest export volume came from Istanbul, which shipped goods worth $65.8 million to Kyrgyzstan. Other contributors include:
- Bursa — $5.9 million
- Ankara and Gaziantep — $3.3 million each
- Izmir — $2.1 million
Notably, the jewelry sector showed significant growth, increasing its export volume by $33.1 million compared to last year.
The economic cooperation between Turkey and Kyrgyzstan continues to strengthen, opening up new opportunities for business and investment.
