Antalya Diplomacy Forum: A New Boost for the Region’s Tourism Industry

From April 11 to 13, 2025, the fourth Antalya Diplomacy Forum (ADF) will take place in the tourist area of Belek. The event will be held under the patronage of Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan and supported by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. The modern NEST Congress Center has been selected as the venue.
ADF 2025 will bring together world leaders, diplomats, experts, and representatives of civil society from around the globe. The forum’s theme — "Restoring Diplomacy in a Fragmented World" — highlights the urgent need for peaceful solutions and the role of diplomacy as a stabilizing tool in the face of global polarization.
However, the forum’s impact extends beyond the international agenda — it also contributes to the development of regional tourism. Hosting ADF in Belek, one of Antalya’s most popular tourist destinations, is already having a positive effect on hotel bookings and overall activity in the tourism sector, especially ahead of the Easter holiday period.
Global Prestige and Tourism Growth
Kaan Kavaloğlu, President of the Mediterranean Touristic Hoteliers and Operators Association, noted that ADF has become a worthy counterpart to the Davos Forum and has opened up new marketing opportunities for Antalya:
"The heart of the world will beat in Antalya. International gatherings like this not only strengthen Turkey’s position on the global stage but also drive tourism growth. Holding the forum during the high season — particularly around the Easter holidays — significantly boosts interest in the region."
Hakan Saatçıoğlu, President of the Professional Hoteliers Association, also emphasized the importance of the forum for the tourism industry:
"Now in its fourth consecutive year, the forum reaffirms Antalya’s high level of security and infrastructure. It attracts the attention of global media, which is a powerful promotional tool for the city. Many forum guests stay in Antalya even after the event, turning business trips into leisure travel."
Tourism as a Bridge Between Cultures
Rıza Perçin, President of the Sports Tourism and Culture Association, pointed out that ADF not only strengthens diplomatic ties but also helps foster cultural and economic cooperation between nations:
"Tourism is not just about leisure. It is one of the key instruments of public diplomacy. Our mission is to showcase the region’s tourism potential on the international stage."
Thus, the Antalya Diplomacy Forum is becoming not only a key venue for global dialogue but also an effective driver of tourism development, promoting Turkey as a stable, welcoming, and modern destination.
