Kazakhstan is switching to Latin alphabet

The new version of the Kazakh language alphabet which is gradually changing to Latin, is approved. The corresponding order was recently signed by the President of Kazakhstan, Nursultan Nazarbayev.
Recall that the phased transfer of the alphabet of the Kazakh language from Cyrillic to Latin alphabet began in October last year. However, many people were displeased with the large number of apostrophes in the alphabet, which made it difficult to read.
Now the number of apostrophes was reduced and a new version of the new alphabet was approved by the decree of the president. The alphabet will have 32 letters and six apostrophes. Now there is a preparation for the transition to the Latin alphabet, in the primary classes of Kazakh schools to teach children new letters which will begin in 2022.
The country will be completely transferred to the new alphabet by 2025.
