Istanbul will host the Jubilee Jazz Festival
The Jazz Festival will start on June 26th,2018 in Turkish Istanbul. This year’s event will be an anniversary – the 25th time the event is being held.
According to the head of the Culture and Arts Foundation of Istanbul, Gorgun Taner, the festival will be attended by the most famous jazz performers from all around the world. Besides, concerts of pop, funk, rock, and representatives of other musical directions are planned within the framework of the festival.
Also, the festival program consists such entertaining events as "Day of Children" and "Night Walk". The performances will be held at several venues.
"We can safely say that a quarter of a century passed today, making Jazz one of the favorite musical trends in Turkey and bringing together a variety of music was a long way," Taner underlined.
