Istanbul Museum Moves

Istanbul Modern Art Museum will be moved to another location.

Recall that the museum is located on the shores of the Bosporus Street, Karakoy. The old building of the largest Turkish Museum of Art will be demolished. All expositions will be temporarily transported to the building of the French Union, which is located in the Pera area.

The museum will be available to visit in May this year.

A new museum will be built in the old place in Karakoy. The work is planned to be complete within three years, after which the Istanbul Modern Museum will return to its former place in the new house.

By the way, it’s also planned to renovate the entire GalataPort embankment in the next three years.
