In Turkey, starting today, the regime will be abolished

On July 18th, the state of emergency will be abolished in Turkey.

This was reported by the official representative of the President of Turkey, Ibrahim Kalin.

At the same time, Kalin noted that in case of threats to national security of the country, the state of emergency can be put to operation again.

Recall that the regime of emergency started operating after an attempted coup on July 15th, 2016. It was extended seven times in the last two years.

"And after the cancellation of the regime in the country, security measures will be increased within the framework of existing laws. At the same time, the fight against terrorism will continue. Our citizens can feel completely safe, all levels of protection remain elevated," Kalin noted.
