In January, foreigners purchased more than 1.700 properties in Turkey

In January 2018, the growth of real estate purchases by foreign citizens amounted to more than 25.5 percent compared to January 2017.

In total, foreigners bought 1,472 properties in the first month of the year. When selecting the region of the apartments and villas, foreigners are constant: for many months, most of the property was purchased in Istanbul, Antalya and Bursa.

Most of the apartments and villas were purchased by Iraqi citizens, the citizens of Saudi Arabia took the second place, then Afghanistan followed, and finally, Russians confidently took the fourth position in the list.

In total, more than 97 thousand transactions were made for the purchase and sale of real estate in January.
