In 2017, foreigners purchased real estate for almost 2 billion $ in Turkey

The amount of foreigners purchasing real estate in Turkey literally grows every month.

Only last year, foreigners purchased more than 15.5 thousand apartments and villas in Turkey. The total amount of transaction was about 1.8 billion $.
And this was twice as much as in 2016.

“We believe that such dynamics are connected, first of all, with the cancellation of part of the restrictions on the purchase of real estate in our country. In addition, we have a developed infrastructure and economy, a huge number of facilities on the coasts – and all this attracts people to Turkey, they are comfortable here,” said the head of the State Land Cadastre of Turkey, Mehmet Zeki Adli.

Sales figures are also growing in the new year. For example, in January 2018, almost twice as many foreigners bought Turkish real estate objects than during the same period last year.
