House sales to foreigners up by 11.4 pct in August

According to the national statistical institute data, the number of residential properties sold in Turkey increased by 4.7 percent year-on-year in August.
Data showed that 120,198 houses changed hands in Turkey during the month. Nearly 31 percent (or 524 units) of the total sales to foreigners were in Istanbul, the country's largest city by population.
