Horses will be replaced with electric cars on the Princess Islands

Electric cars will be rolling on the Princess Islands instead of horse-drawn carriages. Turkish president Recep Tayyip Erdogan recently announced a project to rescue horses on the islands.

Note that the talk about replacing horses, which often die from poor care and hard work, has been going on for a while. For example, Princess Islands labor employs more than 1,500 horses and has almost 300 horse-drawn carriages.

The other day, Istanbul authorities announced that the horses would stop working. However, the exact date of when electric cars will replace animals is not specified yet.
