Turkey has increased the limits for food and transportation payments.

According to a decree issued by the Ministry of Treasury and Finance of Turkey, published in the Resmi Gazete, starting from 2025, the limits for employees' daily expenses on food and transportation, which are exempt from taxation, have been increased.

Employers can now reimburse food expenses up to 240 TL per day (up from the previous 170 TL) and transportation expenses up to 126 TL per day (up from 88 TL). As a result, employees can receive up to 6,240 TL for food and up to 3,276 TL for transportation monthly without tax deductions.

This measure is aimed at supporting employees in the context of inflation and rising prices in Turkey.
