Possible reopening of previously closed areas in Alanya for residence permits.

The Turkish Statistical Institute (TÜİK) has sent an official request to the Directorate General of Migration Management to obtain up-to-date information about the closed areas in Alanya.

As a result of the conducted review, it was found that the proportion of foreign residents in the Mahmutlar, Avsallar, and Kestel areas has decreased and is now less than 20%. This creates a legal basis for reopening these areas for residence permit applications.

The Kargicak area is not being considered at this time, as the proportion of foreigners remains high there.
